About our founder and head coach, Alexandra Geneva

Bonjour! My name is Alexandra and I’m a Swiss native turned Californian with a BA from Columbia University, a Coaching Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (taught by the world’s foremost wellness experts, including Deepak Chopra and Dr. Mark Hyman MD), and a Yale University course certification in the Science of Happiness.

After I left the structure of the college environment, my lack of understanding of how to approach my ambitious life and health goals in an effective and mentally healthy way, plus my lack of support in the process cost me years of painful struggle and stalled dreams.

Finding the right knowledge tools and personal coaching support completely transformed my success in those dreams as well as my happiness in the process. This aha experience left me deeply motivated to become a coach myself and found the Feed Your Freedom coaching format, so that I could save others years of difficulty and get you straight to your highest happiness, health, and fulfillment.

I absolutely love the work of specialized coaching and get incredible joy from watching my clients transform their lives while feeling more empowered and confident each week, which is why I’ve been a coach in various speciality fields for 10+ years.

  • Speciality fields: mindset and habit change, Positive Psychology as a framework for happiness and mental health, self-mastery and productivity, goal-oriented problem solving, dating and relationships, nutrition and fitness, mentally healthy weight loss, and emotional eating recovery.

  • Personal story: Through my study of personal development as well as my own one-to-one coaching experiences, I transformed my health (including a 40lb weight loss), overcame a 15-year eating disorder, married my best friend, and built two successful businesses. Most importantly, however, I have radically changed my internal experience of life from one of chronic anxiety to one of peace, consistent growth, connection, and self-love.

  • Coaching experience: Before pivoting to holistic health + life coaching in 2017 in pursuit of deeper impact, I spent 8 years working as an academic success coach for students at elite prep schools and colleges, helping young individuals to develop the self-knowledge and self-discipline they needed to pursue their dream futures. This deep and varied experience across client objectives lends me a unique expertise in what works and doesn’t when it comes to helping clients master their struggles and realize their goals.
